For security and easier identification, it’s recommended to update your default Wi-Fi name and password
Don’t worry if your router restarts—it’s normal. Just reconnect your devices using your new Wi-Fi details afterward.
If you can’t access your Spectrum router due to forgotten credentials:
Find the default login credentials on the sticker located underneath or on the back of your router.
till locked out? Perform a factory reset: Locate Reset button on the back of the router.
Insert a paperclip into the reset hole and hold it down for 10 to 15 seconds.
When the router finishes rebooting, use the default credentials (usually admin/admin) to log in.
This password controls access to the router dashboard — not the Wi-Fi network itself.
Ensure your device is on the Spectrum Wi-Fi network. If the login page isn’t loading, troubleshoot with these steps:
Your network connection
Correct IP address: Use 192.168.0.1 in the browser’s address bar.
