Easily Log In to Your Linksys Router

To access your router dashboard, follow these simple steps:

  • Ensure your computer, phone, or tablet is connected to your Linksys WiFi or via Ethernet cable.
  • Open a Web Browser
  • Type either http://192.168.1.1 or http://myrouter.local into the address bar and press Enter.
  • Enter Router Credentials Username: admin Password: admin (unless you’ve changed it)
  • Then, click Login to access the control panel.

You should now be inside your Linksys router’s dashboard, ready to configure settings.

How to Change Linksys WiFi Password

  • Log into the router dashboard as described above.
  • Go to Wireless Settings > Wireless Security.
  • Under Security Mode, select WPA2 Personal (for best security).
  • Type your desired password into the Pre-Shared Key / Passphrase box.
  • Click Save Settings to apply changes.

Your router will briefly restart, and the new password will be in effect.
