How to Login to Frontier Router

Follow these steps:

  • Connect your device (PC, laptop, or smartphone) to the Frontier WiFi network or use an Ethernet cable.
  • Open a web browser (any)
  • In the address bar, type: 👉 http://192.168.1.1 (This is the default IP address)
  • Press Enter.
  • On the login page, enter your credentials: Default Username: admin Default Password: admin or password

You’re now inside the Frontier router settings page.

How to Update the WiFi Name and Password on Your Frontier Router

To personalize your WiFi network:

  • After login, go to the Wireless Settings tab.
  • Find your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
  • Change the SSID (WiFi name) to something unique.
  • Type a strong new password into the Password field.
  • Click Save or Apply.

Your router may restart and your device might disconnect. Reconnect using the new WiFi credentials.

If you’re unable to log in, try the following:

Ensure your device is connected to the router’s network.

Check if the IP address is correct.

Reset your router to factory settings using the Reset button (hold for 10 seconds).
